Those 10 films amassed a collective $4,942,420,161 from their worldwide distribution. That means that people plunked down almost $5 billion for the privilege of being scared silly!
Thank God that we, as believers, don’t have to be scared about what happens to us in this life or the next. In the words of Charles Spurgeon…

I have a friend who picked up the Bible, started reading it from the back, and got so scared by the end times prophecy in Revelation that he cried out to God to save him from eternal damnation… and He did! Now that’s a horror story with a happy ending!
